The book of Obadiah is the smallest book in the Old Testament.
It is a book of prophecy, about the struggle between Israel and Edom,
which is another name for Esau, Jacob’s twin brother and rival.
This great book is also a metaphor of the struggles between
the covenant people of God and the unsaved world.
The book prophecies the eventual victory of Israel, inspite of chastisements
and adversities, and thereby indicates the eventual victory of the
believer.
These sermons were delivered at Calvary Chapel New Brunswick, New Jersey.
